Reflecting on the Quran to find coherence

This verse invites us to reflect on the Quran to notice its coherence.

أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَۚ وَلَوۡ كَانَ مِنۡ عِندِ غَيۡرِ ٱللَّهِ لَوَجَدُواْ فِيهِ ٱخۡتِلَٰفٗا كَثِيرٗا

Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction

Quran, An-Nisa 4:82

The verse asks a question: why not reflect on the Quran? It suggests that if this book came from other than Allah, one would find many contradictions in it. Yet, by reflecting, one can observe that it does not present any. This internal coherence is a sign of its divine origin.

In our daily lives, we can take time to read the Quran attentively, pondering its verses. This can strengthen our trust in its truthfulness and help us better understand our faith.
