ذِكْر
After prayer, the remembrance of Allah continues, in every position.
فَٱذۡكُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ قِيَٰمٗا وَقُعُودٗا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِكُمۡ
So remember Allah while standing, sitting, or [lying] on your sides.
Quran, An-Nisa 4:103
This verse invites believers to remember Allah after prayer, whether they are standing, sitting, or lying down. It shows that the remembrance of Allah is not limited to a place or a posture. It accompanies the believer in all situations, even those where he cannot pray normally. In daily life, we can mention Allah at any time: while walking, working, or before sleeping. Dhikr is a simple way to keep the heart connected to Him, without interrupting our activities.
Today, after a prayer, take one minute to invoke Allah silently, in whatever position you are in.
