Good Deeds That Lead to Paradise

This verse gives great news: any believing person, male or female, who does good deeds will enter Paradise.

وَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ مِن ذَكَرٍ أَوۡ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤۡمِنٞ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ يَدۡخُلُونَ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ وَلَا يُظۡلَمُونَ نَقِيرٗا

And whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer - those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged, [even as much as] the speck on a date seed.

Quran, An-Nisa 4:124

This verse combines two conditions: faith and good deeds. It clarifies that this applies to both men and women. Allah then promises entry into Paradise, without any injustice, not even the speck on a date seed.

This promise encourages us to multiply sincere actions, big or small. Every good deed counts and is never lost. Today, we can do a concrete act that reflects our faith.

Do one sincere good deed today, even a small one: a smile, a help, or a kind word.
