أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلَّهِ
This verse shows us the way to the best religion.
أَسۡلَمَ وَجۡهَهُۥ لِلَّهِ
who submits his face to Allah
Quran, An-Nisa 4:125
The verse asks: who is better in religion than one who submits his whole being to Allah, while doing good and following the religion of Abraham, a man of uprightness? Allah took Abraham as an intimate friend. This submission is not passive: it is accompanied by good deeds and a sound faith. In our daily lives, we can embody this submission by performing our tasks with sincerity and striving to do good to others. This brings us closer to the example of Abraham.
Today, perform a good deed in secret, such as helping someone or making an extra prayer, with the intention of submitting to Allah.
