شُكْر
This verse invites us to discover how gratitude and faith protect us from punishment.
What would Allah do with your punishment if you are grateful and believe? And ever is Allah Appreciative and Knowing.
Quran, An-Nisa 4:147
This verse poses a question: if we are grateful and believe, why would we be punished? It associates gratitude and faith as a shield against punishment. Allah is Appreciative: He values our thanks and knows everything about our hearts. In our daily lives, gratitude turns us toward Allah and away from negative thoughts. It helps us see His blessings and remain humble.
Today, take a minute to thank Allah for three specific blessings, saying 'Alhamdulillah' for each.
