شهادة الله
Allah bears witness to the truth of His revelation, and that is enough proof for the believer.
لَّـٰكِنِ ٱللَّهُ يَشۡهَدُ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ إِلَيۡكَۖ أَنزَلَهُۥ بِعِلۡمِهِۦۖ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ يَشۡهَدُونَۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِيدًا
But Allah bears witness to that which He has revealed to you. He has sent it down with His knowledge, and the angels bear witness [as well]. And sufficient is Allah as Witness.
Quran, An-Nisa 4:166
This verse affirms that Allah bears witness to the revelation sent down to the Prophet. He sent it down with His knowledge, and the angels also bear witness. For the believer, Allah's testimony is sufficient proof of the truth of the Quran. In daily life, we often seek proofs or confirmations. This verse invites us to find serenity in the certainty that Allah has confirmed His word. We can then welcome the Quran with confidence, even without other proofs.
