عدل
This verse calls us to remain just, even towards those we do not like.
ٱعۡدِلُواْ هُوَ أَقۡرَبُ لِلتَّقۡوَىٰ
Be just; that is nearer to righteousness.
Quran, Al-Ma'ida 5:8
In this verse, Allah asks believers to be upright witnesses and not to let hatred of a people lead them to injustice. He clearly commands: "Be just." This justice is presented as a path that brings one closer to piety, that is, to God-consciousness. In daily life, this means we must treat fairly those we do not appreciate, whether in our words, judgments, or actions. Justice is not conditioned by our feelings, but by our obedience to Allah.
Today, when you speak about someone you dislike, make sure to remain fair and not to exaggerate their faults.
