هداية
This verse teaches us that Allah guides those who seek His pleasure to the paths of peace.
يَهۡدِي بِهِ ٱللَّهُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ رِضۡوَٰنَهُۥ سُبُلَ ٱلسَّلَٰمِ وَيُخۡرِجُهُم مِّنَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ بِإِذۡنِهِۦ وَيَهۡدِيهِمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٖ مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ
By which Allah guides those who pursue His pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from darknesses into the light, by His permission, and guides them to a straight path.
Quran, Al-Ma'ida 5:16
Verse 5:16 speaks of the Quran, mentioned just before as a light and a clear book. Allah guides those who seek His pleasure to peaceful ways. He brings them out of darkness into light, by His permission, and then guides them to a straight path. In our daily lives, seeking to please Allah can bring us inner peace and clear direction. We can turn to Him in our choices, big and small, to move out of confusion.
Today, before making a decision, take a minute to ask Allah to guide you toward what is good and peaceful.
