التَّوْبَة
This verse teaches us that sincere repentance, even after a grave mistake, opens the door to Allah's forgiveness.
Except for those who return [repenting] before you apprehend them. And know that Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Quran, Al-Ma'ida 5:34
In this verse, Allah mentions an exception for those who repent before being caught. He associates this repentance with His mercy and forgiveness. This shows that sincere repentance, even after a grave sin, is accepted. In our daily lives, we may be tempted to delay our return to Allah. This verse encourages us to repent quickly, before the consequences of our actions catch up with us. Today, let's take a moment to reflect on our faults and ask Allah for forgiveness sincerely.
Today, take two minutes to sincerely repent to Allah, formulating a request for forgiveness for a specific fault.
