الْحُبُّ فِي الله
This verse describes the qualities of those whom Allah loves.
يُحِبُّهُمۡ وَيُحِبُّونَهُۥٓ أَذِلَّةٍ عَلَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ أَعِزَّةٍ عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
He loves them and they love Him, humble toward the believers, mighty against the disbelievers.
Quran, Al-Ma'ida 5:54
In this verse, Allah mentions a people whom He loves and who love Him. They are humble toward the believers and firm against the disbelievers. They strive in Allah's cause without fearing anyone's blame. This description invites us to cultivate sincere love for Allah and to show humility toward our fellow believers. We can apply this by being gentle and helpful with believers while remaining steadfast in our principles.
Today, perform an act of humility toward a believer: help them with a simple task or offer a kind word.
