This verse shows how faith and piety transform one's destiny.
If they had believed and feared Allah, We would have removed from them their misdeeds and admitted them to Gardens of Pleasure.
Quran, Al-Ma'ida 5:65
This verse addresses the People of the Book. It offers them a path: to believe and to fear Allah. If they took it, their misdeeds would be erased and they would enter the gardens of delight. The verse links faith and piety to two great promises: forgiveness and paradise. For us, it reminds us that faith is not just theoretical. It is shown through concrete piety, a care to avoid what displeases Allah. This path leads to a purified life and a solid hope.
Today, identify a misdeed you regret and decide to sincerely give it up for Allah.
