تَوْبَة
This verse invites us to turn to Allah and seek His forgiveness.
أَفَلَا يَتُوبُونَ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَيَسۡتَغۡفِرُونَهُۥۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ
So will they not repent to Allah and seek His forgiveness? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Quran, Al-Ma'ida 5:74
In this verse, Allah poses a question to those who said grave words about Him. He asks: will they not repent and seek His forgiveness? The implied answer is yes, they can. Allah is described as Forgiving and Merciful, showing that His forgiveness is accessible. This verse reminds us that, regardless of our past, we can always return to Allah. Repentance is a simple act: acknowledge the mistake, sincerely ask for forgiveness, and resolve not to repeat it. Allah is ready to forgive.
