طَمَع
This verse expresses a deep aspiration to join the righteous people.
وَنَطۡمَعُ أَن يُدۡخِلَنَا رَبُّنَا مَعَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
And we aspire that our Lord will admit us with the righteous people.
Quran, Al-Ma'ida 5:84
In this verse, believers affirm their faith in Allah and in the truth revealed. They then express their hope to be admitted among the righteous. This hope is not passive: it accompanies sincere faith and recognition of the truth. In daily life, we can cultivate this same hope. It encourages us to act with integrity and to seek the company of pious people. Hope becomes a driving force for our choices and efforts.
Today, make a sincere intention: “I hope Allah will admit me with the righteous,” then perform a small act of goodness, like helping someone.
