This verse calls us to obey Allah and His Messenger while remaining vigilant.
Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and beware. If you turn away, know that Our Messenger is only responsible for clear notification.
Quran, Al-Ma'ida 5:92
This verse commands obedience to Allah and the Messenger, and to beware. It clarifies that if one turns away, the Messenger is only responsible for delivering the message clearly. Thus, obedience is a personal responsibility. In our daily lives, we can apply this by listening to the Quran's teachings and following the Prophet's ﷺ example, while being mindful of our choices.
Today, choose a Quranic teaching you know and apply it concretely, such as speaking the truth or being kind.
