إِيمَان
This verse shows us how the disciples responded to Allah's call.
قَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا وَٱشۡهَدۡ بِأَنَّنَا مُسۡلِمُونَ
They said, "We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we are Muslims [in submission to Allah]."
Quran, Al-Ma'ida 5:111
In this verse, Allah mentions that He inspired the disciples to believe in Him and in His messenger. Their response is immediate and clear: they declare their faith and ask Allah to bear witness to their submission. This verse brings together faith and submission in one response. This attitude invites us to answer the call of faith with sincerity, without hesitation. In our daily lives, we can cultivate this trust in Allah by entrusting our plans to Him and accepting His will.
Today, take a moment to say inwardly: "I believe in Allah and I submit to Him," reflecting on the meaning of these words.
