دُعَاء
Jesus, son of Mary, asks Allah for a table from heaven, and ends with a supplication full of trust.
وَٱرۡزُقۡنَا وَأَنتَ خَيۡرُ ٱلرَّـٰزِقِينَ
"And provide for us, and You are the best of providers."
Quran, Al-Ma'ida 5:114
In this verse, Jesus does not merely ask: he acknowledges that Allah is the Best Provider. He combines the request with humility and trust. The previous verse shows that the disciples wanted reassurance; Jesus teaches them to rely on Allah. In our daily lives, we can supplicate Allah for our needs, big or small. Recognizing that He is the Best Provider helps us trust Him, even when the answer is delayed.
Today, make a sincere supplication for a specific need, starting with "O Allah, our Lord" and ending with "You are the Best Provider."
