عِلْم
This verse reminds us that Allah's knowledge encompasses all that we conceal and all that we reveal.
يَعۡلَمُ سِرَّكُمۡ وَجَهۡرَكُمۡ وَيَعۡلَمُ مَا تَكۡسِبُونَ
He knows your secret and what you make public, and He knows that which you earn.
Quran, Al-An'aam 6:3
In this verse, Allah affirms that He is God in the heavens and the earth. He knows our innermost secrets and our public actions. He also knows everything we earn, meaning our deeds and efforts. This divine knowledge invites us to live with awareness of His presence. We can act with sincerity, even when no one sees us, because Allah sees and knows all.
Today, before acting, ask yourself: 'Would I do this if I knew Allah sees me?' Then perform a good deed in secret, like a smile or discreet help.
