سَمِيع
This verse reminds us that Allah owns everything and that He hears and knows all.
وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
And He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
Quran, Al-An'aam 6:13
The verse states that Allah owns all that rests by night and by day. It brings together two of His names: the Hearing (As-Samīʿ) and the Knowing (Al-ʿAlīm). This means He hears every sound and knows everything without exception. In our daily life, this certainty invites us to be aware of His presence. Our words and actions do not escape Him. This encourages us to act sincerely and to entrust our concerns to Him.
