Allah, Our Only Protector

This verse invites us to choose Allah as our sole ally.

قُلۡ أَغَيۡرَ ٱللَّهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِيّٗا فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَهُوَ يُطۡعِمُ وَلَا يُطۡعَمُۗ

Say, "Is it other than Allah I should take as a protector, Creator of the heavens and the earth, while it is He who feeds and is not fed?"

Quran, Al-An'aam 6:14

In this verse, Allah asks the Prophet ﷺ to reject any other protector. Allah is the Creator of the entire universe. He feeds all His creatures, but He Himself needs no one. This description shows His power and total independence.

We can turn to Him with full trust. In our difficulties, let us remember that He is the One who provides for our needs. Today, let us take a moment to entrust our worries to Him and ask for His help.

Today, recite this verse and reflect on the fact that Allah is your only Protector. Entrust a specific concern to Him.
