Under the Dominion of the Wise

This verse reminds us that Allah has dominion over His servants and that He is Wise and All-Aware.

وَهُوَ ٱلۡقَاهِرُ فَوۡقَ عِبَادِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ

And He is the subjugator over His servants. And He is the Wise, the Acquainted [with all].

Quran, Al-An'aam 6:18

The verse states that Allah has dominion over His servants. He is above them, not physically, but in His power and authority. He is also the Wise, whose decisions are just, and the All-Aware, who knows everything about our situations.

In our daily lives, we may feel overwhelmed by events. This verse invites us to recognize that Allah has control over all that concerns us. This can help us accept what happens with trust, hoping that He acts with wisdom.
