Patience before victory

This verse reminds us how the messengers endured rejection and persecution.

فَصَبَرُواْ عَلَىٰ مَا كُذِّبُواْ وَأُوذُواْ حَتَّىٰٓ أَتَىٰهُمۡ نَصۡرُنَا

They were patient over the effects of denial and were harmed until Our victory came to them.

Quran, Al-An'aam 6:34

The verse mentions that messengers before you were denied. They remained patient despite the denial and harm, until Allah's help arrived. Their perseverance is a concrete example.

In our daily lives, we may face opposition or difficulties. We can draw inspiration from this steadfastness by staying firm in our principles, without expecting immediate results.

Today, when facing a difficulty, recall this verse and choose a concrete act of patience, such as responding calmly to a provocation.
