غَيْب
The Prophet ﷺ clearly states that he does not know the unseen.
وَلَآ أَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبَ
“and I do not know the unseen”
Quran, Al-An'aam 6:50
In this verse, the Prophet ﷺ responds to those who expect supernatural knowledge from him. He clarifies that he does not possess Allah's treasures, that he is not an angel, and that he does not know the unseen. His mission is simple: to follow what is revealed to him. This statement invites us to humility. We do not know what tomorrow holds, nor what lies in hearts. Acknowledging our limits helps us turn to Allah and focus on what we can do.
Today, take a moment to say: “I do not know the unseen, but I trust Allah.”
