إِعْرَاض
This verse teaches us how to react when people mock Allah's verses.
فَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ يَخُوضُواْ فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيۡرِهِۦ
Turn away from them until they engage in another conversation.
Quran, Al-An'aam 6:68
In this verse, Allah tells His Prophet to turn away from those who mock His verses. Do not stay with them until they change the subject. If you forget and remain, then as soon as you remember, you should leave. Today, we can apply this by politely leaving a conversation where religion is ridiculed. We are not judges, but we protect our faith and show respect for the Quran.
Today, if you hear mockery of the Quran, calmly walk away or change the subject.
