The Home of Peace

This verse announces a home of peace for those who do good deeds.

۞لَهُمۡ دَارُ ٱلسَّلَٰمِ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡۖ وَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

For them will be the Home of Peace with their Lord. And He will be their protecting friend because of what they used to do.

Quran, Al-An'aam 6:127

The verse associates the Home of Peace with those who do good deeds. Allah is their protector. The previous verse speaks of the straight path; the next one mentions the fate of those who did evil. Here, peace is promised to those who do good.

Today, our daily actions can reflect this hope. Every sincere effort to follow the right path is a deed that counts.

Today, do one simple good deed, like helping someone or saying a kind word, while thinking of the Home of Peace.
