This verse invites us to savor Allah's gifts with moderation and generosity.
“Eat of its fruit when it yields and give its due on the day of its harvest. And be not excessive. Indeed, He does not like those who commit excess.”
Quran, Al-An'aam 6:141
Allah reminds us that He causes gardens, palm trees, crops, olives, and pomegranates to grow. These blessings are signs of His goodness. He asks us to eat from them, but also to give what is due on the day of harvest, and not to be excessive. In our daily lives, this means appreciating food without wasting it, and thinking of those in need. Gratitude is shown through concrete acts of sharing and moderation.
Today, before throwing away leftovers, offer them to someone or save them for another meal.
