إِحْسَان
This verse teaches us a precious divine command: to be kind to our parents.
وَبِٱلۡوَٰلِدَيۡنِ إِحۡسَٰنٗا
and to parents, good treatment
Quran, Al-An'aam 6:151
In this statement, Allah enumerates what He has forbidden, then commands not to associate anything with Him and to be good to parents. Ihsaan towards them means acting with kindness, respect, and care, in words and deeds. Today, we can embody this teaching by taking a moment to please them, whether through a call, a visit, or a simple gesture. It takes only a few minutes, but it reflects our obedience to this divine command.
