كِتَاب مُبَارَك
This verse presents the Qur'an as a blessed book and invites us to follow it.
وَهَٰذَا كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ مُبَارَكٞ فَٱتَّبِعُوهُ وَٱتَّقُواْ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ
And this is a blessed Book which We have revealed - so follow it and fear Allah that you may receive mercy.
Quran, Al-An'aam 6:155
In this verse, Allah describes the Qur'an as a blessed book. He asks us to follow it and to be conscious of Him. The blessing of the Qur'an means it contains abundant good and guidance. The previous verse mentions the Book given to Moses, and here Allah emphasizes that this Book (the Qur'an) is also a blessing. Following the Qur'an means putting its teachings into practice in our daily lives. Being conscious of Allah means acting with awareness of Him. By doing so, we hope to receive His mercy. Today, we can start by reading a short passage of the Qur'an and reflecting on how to apply it.
Today, read a short passage of the Qur'an (even a few verses) and note one concrete action you can implement.
