تَوْبَة
This verse teaches us how to acknowledge our wrongdoings and seek Allah's forgiveness.
They said, "Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers."
Quran, Al-A'raf 7:23
In this verse, two people admit they have been unjust to themselves. They do not make excuses. They turn to Allah, asking for His forgiveness and mercy. They know that without it, they would be lost. This attitude is a model for us. When we make a mistake, we can acknowledge our fault and sincerely ask Allah for forgiveness. It is an act of courage and humility.
Today, take a moment to reflect on a recent mistake, then say: "O Allah, forgive me and have mercy on me."
