طَيِّبَات
This verse invites us to recognize the pure provisions that Allah has created for us.
وَٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ مِنَ ٱلرِّزۡقِ
and the good things of provision
Quran, Al-A'raf 7:32
In this verse, Allah asks: 'Who has forbidden the adornment of Allah which He has produced for His servants and the good things of provision?' He answers that these are for the believers in this worldly life and exclusively for them on the Day of Resurrection. Thus, Allah reminds us that pure pleasures are not to be rejected but to be appreciated with gratitude. The following verse clarifies what is truly forbidden: immoralities, sin, oppression, associating partners with Allah, and saying about Allah what we do not know. So we can enjoy pure blessings while avoiding these prohibitions.
Today, take a moment to thank Allah for a pure food you enjoy, saying 'Alhamdulillah' with awareness.
