تَقْوَى
This verse addresses the children of Adam with a message of hope.
فَمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰ وَأَصۡلَحَ فَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يَحۡزَنُونَ
Then whoever fears Allah and reforms - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
Quran, Al-A'raf 7:35
In this verse, Allah addresses all of humanity. He reminds that messengers come to convey His signs. The promise is clear: those who acquire piety and reform themselves will have no fear and will not grieve. The verse associates piety with reform, and this dual attitude leads to inner security. In daily life, we can cultivate this piety by being mindful of our actions and seeking to improve. The divine promise encourages us to persevere, even when we make mistakes.
Today, identify one small flaw to correct and take a concrete step to improve, trusting Allah with your desire for piety.
