إِصْلَاح
This verse calls us not to corrupt the earth after its reformation and to invoke Allah with fear and hope.
وَلَا تُفۡسِدُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ بَعۡدَ إِصۡلَٰحِهَا وَٱدۡعُوهُ خَوۡفٗا وَطَمَعًاۚ إِنَّ رَحۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ قَرِيبٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
Do not cause corruption upon the earth after its reformation. And invoke Him in fear and aspiration. Indeed, the mercy of Allah is near to the doers of good.
Quran, Al-A'raf 7:56
The verse associates two attitudes: avoiding corruption on earth after it has been reformed, and invoking Allah with fear and hope. It mentions that Allah's mercy is near to those who do good. In our daily lives, we can preserve what is good around us, such as the environment or relationships, and turn to Allah with a humble heart, trusting in His mercy.
Today, perform a simple action that preserves or improves your environment, then invoke Allah with fear and hope.
