الضَّرَّاء
This verse teaches us that difficulties can be an opportunity to turn to Allah.
بِٱلۡبَأۡسَآءِ وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَضَّرَّعُونَ
with adversity and hardship, so that they might humble themselves (to Allah).
Quran, Al-A'raf 7:94
In this verse, Allah reminds us that He tested past peoples with adversity and hardship. The purpose is that they become humble and supplicate to Him. Thus, hard times are not meaningless: they can awaken our hearts and bring us closer to Him. When we face a trial, we can choose to turn to Allah through supplication. This attitude helps us to be patient and to find meaning in our pain.
