تَوَكُّل
This verse invites us to hope in Allah's deliverance while remaining aware of our responsibilities.
قَالَ عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمۡ أَن يُهۡلِكَ عَدُوَّكُمۡ وَيَسۡتَخۡلِفَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرَ كَيۡفَ تَعۡمَلُونَ
He said, "Perhaps your Lord will destroy your enemy and grant you succession in the land and see how you will do."

Moses' people complain of the persecution they suffered before and after his arrival. Moses does not promise immediate victory, but he turns their gaze toward hope: Allah may destroy the enemy and grant them the land. This hope is not passive: it comes with a clear awareness that our actions will be seen and judged. In our lives, we may face trials. This verse teaches us to hope in Allah's promise while reminding us that we must act righteously. True hope pushes us to persevere and improve ourselves.
