دُعَاء
This verse shows how people asked Moses to supplicate Allah when the punishment struck them.
And when the punishment descended upon them, they said, "O Moses, invoke for us your Lord by what He has promised you."
Quran, Al-A'raf 7:134
In this passage, the Egyptians, struck by painful signs, turn to Moses and ask him to supplicate Allah. They acknowledge that Moses has received a promise from his Lord. This scene shows that supplication is a natural recourse in times of hardship. For us, this invites us to turn to Allah through prayer and supplication, in humility, when we face trials. We can ask Him for help, relying on our trust in Him.
Today, take a moment to make a sincere supplication to Allah, asking Him to help you with a difficulty you are facing.
