الأمر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر
This verse shows believers who continue to admonish despite some disagreeing.
قَالُواْ مَعۡذِرَةً إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمۡ وَلَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَّقُونَ
They said, "To be absolved before your Lord and perhaps they may fear Him."
Quran, Al-A'raf 7:164
In a disobedient town, some ask why advise people whom Allah will punish. The answer is clear: act out of duty toward Allah, and keep hope for change. The verse combines these two intentions: to clear one's responsibility and to hope for piety. Today, we may be tempted to stay silent in the face of injustice or error. Yet this verse invites us to speak, even if our words seem useless. Hope remains, for the person can change.
Today, offer a word of encouragement or useful advice to someone in need, without expecting immediate results.
