This verse describes the reflex of the pious when touched by Satan's suggestions.
Indeed, those who fear Allah - when an impulse touches them from Satan, they remember [Him] and at once they have insight.
Quran, Al-A'raf 7:201
The verse brings together two attitudes: mindfulness of Allah and remembrance. When a suggestion from Satan touches the pious, they remember Allah. This remembrance immediately restores their insight. In daily life, a negative thought or temptation may arise. Instead of following it, we can pause and remember Allah. This simple reflex helps us regain clarity.
Today, whenever a negative thought or temptation crosses your mind, say inwardly 'A'oudhu billah' and resume your activity with clarity.
