This verse teaches us a way to invoke Allah, with humility and fear.
And remember your Lord within yourself in humility and in fear without being apparent in speech - in the mornings and the evenings. And do not be among the heedless.
Quran, Al-A'raf 7:205
The verse asks us to remember Allah within ourselves, with humility and fear, in a low voice. This means that invocation can be silent, in the heart, without being spoken aloud. Morning and evening are special times for this practice. In our daily lives, we can take a moment in the morning and evening to turn to Allah, even briefly. This helps us stay mindful of Him and avoid heedlessness, as the verse invites us.
Today, take one minute this morning and evening to invoke Allah silently, with humility and fear.
