التوبة
This verse reminds us that repentance is a gift Allah grants to whom He wills.
ثُمَّ يَتُوبُ ٱللَّهُ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ
Then Allah will accept repentance after that for whom He wills; and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Quran, At-Tawba 9:27
In this verse, Allah announces that after the previous events, He accepts repentance from whom He wills. This shows His sovereignty and mercy. He does not specify conditions but reminds us of His attributes: Forgiving and Merciful. For us, this means repentance is always possible, but it depends on Allah's will. So we should turn to Him with humility, never despairing of His mercy, while remaining aware that He decides.
Today, make a sincere supplication for forgiveness to Allah, even briefly, acknowledging His mercy.
