قُرْبَة
This verse shows us how a simple expenditure can become a means of drawing near to Allah.
وَيَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنفِقُ قُرُبَٰتٍ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ
and considers what he spends as a means of nearness to Allah
Quran, At-Tawba 9:99
In this verse, Allah describes Bedouins who believe in Him and the Last Day. They consider their spending as a way to draw near to Allah and to benefit from the Messenger's supplications. Allah confirms that this is indeed a means of nearness, and He will admit them to His mercy. Today, we too can turn our spending into acts of nearness. Whether it's charity, a donation, or help, if our intention is sincere, Allah accepts it and brings us closer to Him.
Today, give a small amount in charity with the intention of drawing near to Allah.
