This verse invites us to give Sadaqa to purify and bless the giver.
Take from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase, and invoke blessings upon them. Indeed, your invocations are reassurance for them.
Quran, At-Tawba 9:103
In this verse, Allah instructs the Prophet to take Sadaqa from the believers' wealth. This charity has two effects: it purifies them and increases them in blessing. The verse also associates the Prophet's prayer with reassurance for them. Today, we can give Sadaqa with the intention of purifying our wealth and hearts. Even a small gesture counts. The reassurance mentioned is linked to the Prophet's prayer, but we can ask Allah for serenity in our generosity.
Give a small amount in Sadaqa today, even a coin, thinking about the purification and blessing it brings.
