تَطْهِير
This verse teaches us that Allah loves those who purify themselves.
فِيهِ رِجَالٞ يُحِبُّونَ أَن يَتَطَهَّرُواْۚ وَٱللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُطَّهِّرِينَ
Within it are men who love to purify themselves; and Allah loves those who purify themselves.
Quran, At-Tawba 9:108
In this passage, Allah mentions a mosque founded on piety. He specifies that within it are men who love to purify themselves, and that He loves those who purify themselves. The verse associates piety and purification. In our daily lives, we can cultivate this love of purity, whether through physical cleanliness or sincere actions. Today, let us take care of our purity, by performing ablution before prayer or by cleaning our environment.
Today, before a prayer, perform your ablution carefully and with intention, thinking that you are purifying yourself for Allah.
