نَفَقَة
This verse reminds us that every expenditure, even small, is recorded with Allah.
وَلَا يُنفِقُونَ نَفَقَةٗ صَغِيرَةٗ وَلَا كَبِيرَةٗ
Nor do they spend an expenditure, small or large, but that it is registered for them.
Quran, At-Tawba 9:121
In this verse, Allah speaks about believers who take part in a common effort. He affirms that every expenditure, small or large, is recorded. Nothing is lost. Allah promises to reward them for the best of what they were doing. This encourages us to give without neglecting small gestures. A modest donation, a share, a discreet help: everything has value. We can apply this in our daily lives, even with limited means.
Today, make a small expenditure for someone else: offer a coffee, give a coin, or share a meal.
