Successors on Earth

This verse reminds us that we are responsible for our actions on earth.

ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَٰكُمۡ خَلَـٰٓئِفَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ لِنَنظُرَ كَيۡفَ تَعۡمَلُونَ

Then We made you successors in the land after them so that We may observe how you will do.

Quran, Yunus 10:14

In this verse, Allah reminds us that after past generations, He has made us successors on earth. The purpose is clear: to see how we act. We are not left without purpose, but placed in a position of responsibility.

Every day, our choices matter. We can act with justice, honesty, and kindness, or neglect our duties. Allah sees us and knows our actions. This awareness can guide our daily decisions.

Today, before acting, ask yourself: 'How does Allah see this action?' and choose what is good.
