ظُلْم
This verse reminds us that any injustice does not come from Allah, but from our own actions.
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَظۡلِمُ ٱلنَّاسَ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلنَّاسَ أَنفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُونَ
Indeed, Allah does not wrong the people at all, but it is the people who are wronging themselves.
Quran, Yunus 10:44
This verse clearly states that Allah is never unjust to people. He does not cause them any harm, whether in this life or the hereafter. The wrong, the dhulm, comes from people themselves: through their choices, words, and actions, they harm themselves. In our daily lives, when we face difficulties, we may be tempted to complain or blame others. This verse invites us to turn inward, examine our behavior, and seek to improve ourselves, rather than questioning Allah's justice.
Today, before complaining about a situation, take a moment to reflect on one action you could change to avoid harming yourself.
