شَهِيد
Every action, even the most discreet, takes place under Allah's watch.
وَلَا تَعۡمَلُونَ مِنۡ عَمَلٍ إِلَّا كُنَّا عَلَيۡكُمۡ شُهُودًا
You do not do any deed except that We are witness over you.
Quran, Yunus 10:61
This verse reassures us: Allah is witness to everything we do, at the very moment we do it. Nothing escapes Him, neither on earth nor in heaven, not even the weight of an atom. This presence is not a heavy surveillance, but an invitation to live consciously. In daily life, this helps us act with sincerity, even when no one sees us. Knowing that Allah sees us can encourage us to choose good, to be honest, and to mind our words and actions.
Before acting today, take a second to remember: 'Allah sees me.' Then do one small deed with that awareness.
