إِخْلَاص
Noah reminds that his mission does not depend on a reward from people.
فَمَا سَأَلۡتُكُم مِّنۡ أَجۡرٍۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱللَّهِ
I have not asked you for any payment; my reward is only from Allah.
Quran, Yunus 10:72
In this verse, Noah addresses his people who turn away. He clarifies that he never asked for a reward for his call. His recompense is only with Allah. This shows total sincerity: we act for Allah, expecting nothing from people. This word invites us to examine our intentions. When we help, serve, or teach, do we seek people's approval or Allah's? Acting for Allah alone lightens the heart and gives a clear direction.
Today, do a good deed discreetly, without telling anyone, intending it for Allah.
