This verse invites us to seek knowledge from those who received the Scriptures before us.
So if you are in doubt about what We have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Scripture before you. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so never be among the doubters.
Quran, Yunus 10:94
The verse addresses the Prophet ﷺ, but it teaches us an attitude: when in doubt about revelation, we can consult those who received the Scriptures before us. This shows the importance of knowledge and dialogue. In our daily lives, when a religious question troubles us, we can seek answers from knowledgeable people. The truth comes from Allah, and we should not remain in uncertainty.
Today, if you have a question about your faith, ask a trusted person who has studied the Scriptures, or consult a reliable source.
