مغفرة
Noah acknowledges his ignorance and implores Allah's forgiveness.
وَإِلَّا تَغۡفِرۡ لِي وَتَرۡحَمۡنِيٓ أَكُن مِّنَ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ
"And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers."
Quran, Hud 11:47
In this verse, Noah, after being corrected, turns to Allah with humility. He acknowledges that he asked for something without knowledge. He does not justify himself but seeks protection and forgiveness. He links Allah's forgiveness and mercy to his salvation. This attitude teaches us that recognizing our mistakes and asking for forgiveness is a strength. In our daily lives, we can imitate Noah by accepting our limitations and turning to Allah sincerely.
Today, take a moment to say: 'My Lord, forgive me and have mercy on me.'
