ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
This verse invites us to perform the prayer at the prescribed times and announces that good deeds erase bad ones.
وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ طَرَفَيِ ٱلنَّهَارِ وَزُلَفٗا مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِۚ إِنَّ ٱلۡحَسَنَٰتِ يُذۡهِبۡنَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِۚ
Establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds.

The verse commands to establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. It associates these prayers with good deeds that erase misdeeds. The following verse encourages patience, for Allah does not lose the reward of those who do good. In our daily life, prayer is a moment when we turn to Allah. By performing it at the prescribed times, we multiply good deeds that can erase our faults. It is a chance to start anew.
Today, choose one prayer and perform it mindfully, remembering that it is among the good deeds that erase misdeeds.
