ٱصۡبِرۡ
This verse calls us to patience and assures us that Allah never loses the reward of those who do good.
وَٱصۡبِرۡ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجۡرَ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
And be patient, for indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good.
Quran, Hud 11:115
In this verse, Allah commands patience and links it to goodness. He promises that the reward of those who do good will never be lost. Patience is thus a path to divine reward. In our daily lives, we face difficulties and frustrations. Practicing patience means staying firm and confident while continuing to act with kindness. It helps us keep hope and persevere.
Today, when you face a difficulty, take a minute to breathe and say to yourself: 'I am patient and I continue to do good.'
